基本英会話【What’s the matter? 】

Hi everyone!

Our conversation phrase for today is What’s the matter (with someone or something)?

 It is used to show concern or to ask someone if there’s a problem.

“What’s going on?” and “What’s wrong?”  are also similar expressions.

 

【For example:】

A: What’s the matter? Are you alright?

B: I’m not feeling well. I have muscle pains all over my body

A: Oh that’s too bad. Why? What did you do over the weekend?

B: I went hiking with my friends.

 

A: Hmmm. You should take a pain reliever.
