Hello!
Today’s phrase has the word summer in it but it actually happens during autumn.
Do you know what an Indian summer is?
An Indian summer describes a period of warmer than usual weather during autumn.
It may only last a week or two.
The next time you’re experiencing warmer than usual weather during autumn, you can say to your friend or co-worker, “It feels like we’re having an Indian summer.”
Another example:
John: It’s November but it feels like summer right now.
Adam: Yeah, we’re having an Indian summer.
●日本語訳:『小春日和』という意味です。
