基本会話《Be careful not to~》

Today's conversation phrase is “be careful not to…”

We use this to caution or warn someone to not do something, usually to a friend or family member.

Using this phrase shows concern.

 

For example:

If you know someone is leaving the house and there is ice on the ground, you can say to them

“be careful not to slip on the ice.”

氷で滑らないように気を付けてね

 

 

When your friend is visiting their family for a few days for the holidays, you can say,

“be careful not to eat too much during the holidays.”

休暇の間、食べ過ぎないように気を付けてね

 

意味:『~しないように気を付ける』という意味です。

   通常は家族、友人に対して誰かに何かをしないように警告をするために使うフレーズとなってます。
