Responding to Difficult Questions

Hi everyone!

Hope you have a great week ahead!

Today's blog is about answering difficult questions.

Sometimes, we might need some time to think about the answer, we might not know the answer, or we may not want to answer that question at all.

Here are some phrases that we can use:

I. When we need time 考える時間がほしいとき

  • Let me think...
  • That's a great question.
  • I'll get back to you in a bit.

II. When we are not sure of the answer

  • I'm sorry, I don't know.
  • I'm not entirely sure, but...
  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but...

III. When we don't want to answer

  • I'd rather not talk about that.
  • I don't think I'm the right person to answer that question.
  • I'm not comfortable with answering that question right now.

Please try using these phrases when you get asked a difficult question!
